In recent decades, migration has been a central topic on the agenda of the European Union (EU). This article explores the implications associated with migratory movements to and within the EU, analyzing their impact on the labor market, with a focus on the economic sectors where migrant are present. Through an approach based on the “Push and Pull” migration theory and neoclassical economic theory, issues related to the complexity of the migratory phenomenon in the current European context are addressed.
