Project 118COL01, known as “Food Security and Rural Development in 5 Municipalities of Caquetá (SADER)” and two municipalities of Huila department (currently in execution phase), aims to increase the income of 700 rural families. To achieve this purpose, it focuses on two essential strategic lines. Firstly, it seeks to ensure family food security through the adoption of agroecological practices and the creation of sustainable business models through short marketing circuits. Secondly, it focuses on providing training and support to families to promote community organization and improve productivity. It is noteworthy that this project is aligned with various strategic plans and programs at the local, national, and global levels, including the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations in 2015, with a projection until the year 2030.
