Generic Space and Programmatic Space in a Rural Educational Facility in the Campo Alegre Hamlet, Antioquia
This work presents the architectural research carried out in the municipality of Carmen de Viboral (Antioquia), specifically in the Campo Alegre area, regarding the relationship between generic space and programmatic space for the proposal of a rural school focused on a pedagogical model different from the traditional one. The addressed problem is related to the delimitation and use of space, which traditionally, given the repetitive nature of its planning, ignores the impact that each learning model has on the space that houses it to shape each educational facility. To address this issue, a program is proposed for a learning model implemented in an educational, community, and productive environment that allows the creation of flexible and multifunctional spaces based on the hypothesis of modifiable and extendable spaces by intercalating programmatic and generic space.
